Uncommon Techniques For Easy Product Creation
If you have been reading my blogs, you know that I am a big fan of affiliate marketing. So, why would I touch on the uncommon techniques for easy product creation?
Well, the product creation process involves many different components, such as writing a converting sales letter, sales funnel, the actual product creation, graphics and the marketing process. So, it will take lots of time and effort when you are working on these, especially optimizing the sales funnel for better conversion.
In this post, I am only going to focus on the techniques for the actual product creation so that you will be able to create a product even if you are a complete beginner, without any experience.
Why Product Creation?
Believe it or not, product creation is an essential skill if you would like to become successful in affiliate marketing. I am not talking about the product launching yet, just purely on product creation. The product you create can be as simple as a pdf report, audio or video products.
When you get your product done, you can either sell it or use it as a lead magnet. Selling will involve process like writing sales letter, developing a sales funnel, etc…For a lead magnet, all you need is to setup an opt in form for people to opt in to receive the freebie product you create, or a simple squeeze page for list building.
You can also use your products as an incentive to the customers that bought the offers via your affiliate link. This is a great way to increase the conversion rate because you differentiate yourself among a dozen of other affiliates who promote the same products. In a competitive market, you will often need to give people a reason to buy from you.
Before you start creating your products, you will need to find out the content that people love to have. Eventually, the products are created for people, not for yourself. Don’t worry if you are totally new and have no experience. You will be able to create your product by following my methods.
Depending on your niches, use Google to find forums relevant to your niches. Visit the forum and look for problems. Look for the questions that are popular in the forums. Check out an example below taken from Warrior Forum:
Another great place to look for product ideas is Clickbank. Select the category you are after and glance over the product titles, skim the sales letter and read at the bullet points.
You can sort the offers according to the gravity and this will give you an idea of the hot selling products. You know what’s selling well right now and you can find out some features of the products from the bullet points.
Again, look for kindle / books category and find your category. Find the top selling books and check out their table of content by clicking “Look Inside”.
You can find out the content structure for all the best selling books by looking at the table of content and also from some of the reviews by the customers in Amazon. This is a killer since you know exactly what the customers are looking for and improve from there.
Now you know the exact way to conduct the market research for your products and should have tons of ideas about your next product. What do you next?
If you have some knowledge and experiences, you can definitely create your own product by doing some research on the internet. If not, buy 2-3 courses regarding to the topic you want to create. Or you can even download a few products for free focusing on the topic you want to create if you are tight on budget.
Study the courses and implement the techniques yourself. While doing the implementation, record everything you have done in a document. Document your results and this will become a case study product you have done!
You can also contact the authors on Amazon to grill them for more information. Contact 10-20 of them and ask them several questions about the topic in the email. Let’s say you only get 50% response rate, you will have enough content in the email for you to compile as a pdf. You can even ask them to do a short webinar instead of email if you want a video course. Record the videos and that will become your products.
By leveraging on the experts, you will save a lot of time in creating the product yourself. Of course, the best type of products will be from your own experience with results.
Another way is to buy private label right (PLR) product and beef up the content by adding your own spin and experience. Even if it is a high quality PLR product, I always strongly recommend to add your own perspective and experience to it so that the product will reflect your personality. This will help to build relationship with the customers.
The key is to find out the content that people love, get those content and give the content to them.
